At the exhibition of world-renowned glass artist and sculptor, native of Pohodlí near Litomyšl, Jaroslav Brychta (1895-1971), there will be presented not only his glass figurines, for which he won awards at the international exhibitions, among others in Paris (1925) and Brussels (1935, 1958 ), but also the early sculptures, drawings and films, in which glass figurines play the main role. For its artistic quality, but also its clarity of expression, Brychta’s creations are today ranked, like the work of Mikoláš Aleš and Josef Lada, for Czech cultural heritage.
