… It is a loose association of artists whose fates were joined when studying at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague in the ground-breaking era of the late eighties and early nineties. They entered the school from Red Army Square and left it at the dawn of the new hop brought by the coming of freedom into Jan Palach Square. After twenty-eight years several of them are getting back together. They combine strength, endurance in their work, and above all the opportunity to exhibit their works in a town with deep traditions and culture. Their work is diverse: from textiles via graphics to painting, ceramics and sculpture. They are the authors with strong expression, creators from personal freedom and personal responsibility, with humility, respecting the traditions of the school. Today, this international group of artists bear witness to the creation of their generation’s work, filled with stories and permeated by a generous and strong visual point of view.
The authors feel honoured to exhibit their works under the auspices of Litomyšl and the mayor Radomil Kašpar, in a beautiful castle riding hall during the famous music festival.
