Marek Číhal
from 8 June 2018
Monastery Gardens, Litomyšl
An installation of neon artwork by Mark Číhala in the garden of a private house that makes possible a unique experience also for visitors to the Monastery Gardens. Marek Číhal (1986) is a young and talented painter, who became a favourite of mine for his rare interconnection of drawings and paintings in a harmonious whole. The neon artwork Still-life was created in early 2017 for the Basilica of St. Castor, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the Ludwig Museum in Koblenz, where in the spring of that year Marek Číhal exhibited at the show Prague Power Boost with Josef Achrer and Krištof Kintera.
