The White Gallery in Osík near Litomyšl is preparing for the 2018 summer exhibition season the project Between Heaven and Earth, which was created in collaboration with the Museum Montanelli in Prague. The exhibition commemorates the 80th anniversary of the birth and the tenth of the death of Ludmila Jandová (1938–2008), whose graphics from the turn of the 60s and 70s are combined with the current paintings of Xénia Hoffmeisterová (*1958), who this year is sixty. From the confrontation of the works of both authors, divided by half a century, there follows the recurring existential situation of the individual caught in the network of the social system, but also the broader context of the transcendental, going beyond it.
